John Taylor's musical background includes stints with bands from the New England area such as Rosey Palm, Thru the Roof, and Acoustic Wave. For the past 15 years he's been playing guitar and writing songs with The Woodrows, a Clay County FL rock band. Playing guitar and singing with the Taylor Lee Calkins trio allows him to experience the three part harmony he grew up listening to with groups like The Beatles, Eagles, and CSN. |
Stephanie Lee began taking piano lessons from her mother at 7 years old. She continued with piano, and then took up the clarinet in the band in elementary school. She continued her studies into college, obtaining a Bachelor's and Master's of Music from James Madison University. Although her career path has taken her into the direction of Software Design, she still maintains a strong passion for performing music, and currently plays in the First Coast Wind Ensemble (clarinet) and in the Taylor Lee Calkins trio (bass guitar/back-up vocals). |

Robyn Calkins grew up surrounded by a musical family. In college, she sang in a traveling band called A New Mind through Georgia Southern University's Wesley Foundation. She began singing in the church choir at a very early age and continues to do so today. An opportunity arose recently for Robyn to sing with her favorite local bands, Wheelhouse and the The Junk Hole Farmers, where she was able to collaborate with fellow band member, John Taylor, and others on various tunes which led to the formation of Taylor Lee Calkins. |
